Hair Emancipation; Renew (Emanzipation von Haare; Renew), 2018, performance (Photos), 18’30”

For many women, long hair defines their beauty, style and behavior as women. It's a stuck stereotype in our society.
How can one easily distinguish the characteristics of diverse people by the length of their hair? And why do people see women who have their hair cut differently than men? Every person has their own identity, so every woman should be able to choose her own hair style.
This performance is part of women's emancipation against prejudice of the ‘womens image’ in society and promotes a ‘renew’ of old knowledge.

Don’t Worry Be Happy!, 2019, mixed media, variable installation

I have depicted the life of the underprivileged classes with small figures. In our capitalist society the lower classes work in invisible danger. They suffer from the pressures of optimizing society.

Over the World Series (picture 1: Beach Shopper, picture2: Surfing Car, picture3: Bank on the Beach, 2021, digital photography

When I look into the window of the closed shutters, I see not only the inner space in the windows, but also the reflection of the outer street scene. Then a recombined world appears on the window surface. I am impressed that the inner and outer spaces are visible at the same time, as if in a surreal world characterized by coexistence. That's why I projected my longings for vacation spots onto the windows and mixed them with the real environment. The reflected world on the windows embodies my fantasy, hope and new nostalgia.
